Terms of Contract with Seller

These Terms will apply to any Contract between you and the Seller for the sale of Products to you. Please read these Terms carefully and make sure that you understand them, before ordering any Products from the Site. Please note that before placing an order, you will be asked to agree to these Terms by checking the tick box before submitting your order. If you refuse to accept these Terms, you will not be able to order any Products from the Site.

You should print a copy of these Terms or save them to your computer for future reference.

These Terms, and any Contract between you and the Seller, are only in the English language.

Our Products

The images of the Products on the Site are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer’s display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the Products. Your Products may vary slightly from those images.

Although we have made every effort to be as accurate as possible, all sizes, weights, capacities, dimensions and measurements indicated on the Site vary.

The packaging of the Products may vary from that shown on images on the Site.

All Products shown on the Site are subject to availability. We will inform you by e-mail as soon as possible if the Product you have ordered is not available and we will process a refund of the full amount to your payment card as soon as practicably possible.

Use Of This Site

Your use of the Site is governed by the Company’s Terms of Use. Please take the time to read this document as it includes important terms which apply to you.

In particular, you agree:

  • To post or publish feedback on Sellers or Products which is honest, fair and factual; and
  • To refrain from posting or publishing any content or materials which are libellous, slanderous, offensive, incorrect, misleading or inaccurate in any way.

Due to the volume of content on the Site, we are unable to review all comments given in the feedback sections. Therefore, we ask you to let us know of any defamatory, illegal or offensive posts immediately by contacting us via email at [email protected]. We will then review these and take the appropriate action.

You acknowledge and accept that your failure to use the Site in accordance with these Terms and any document referred to in these Terms may result in your access to the Site being blocked.

How We Use Your Personal Information

Your personal information will be used in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy. Please take the time to read this document, as it includes important terms which apply to you.

How The Contract Is Formed Between You And Us

Our order process allows you to check and amend any errors before submitting your order. Please take the time to read and check your order at each page of the order process.

After you place an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order (“Order Confirmation“). However, please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Our acceptance of your order will take place as described hereunder. Without affecting your rights to return the Product(s) set out in these Terms, you can cancel your order for a Product at no cost to you at any time before we dispatch the Product(s) to you.

The Contract between us will only be formed when we dispatch your Product(s) to you.

If we are unable to supply you with a Product (for example, because that Product is not in stock, no longer available or because of an error in the price on the Site), we will inform you of this by e-mail and we will process a refund of the full amount to your payment method as soon as practicably possible.

The Company’s Right To Vary These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time in the following circumstances:

  • Changes in how we accept payment from you; and
  • Changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements.

Every time you order Products from us, the Terms in force at that time will apply to the Contract between you and us.

Whenever we revise these Terms in accordance with this clause, we will keep you informed and give you notice of this by stating on the Site that these Terms have been amended.

Your Consumer Right Of Return And Refund

This clause only applies if you are a consumer.

As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to Products that are faulty, of poor quality or not as described under the Consumer Affairs Act (Chapter 378 of the Laws of Malta). As such, the Product(s) must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality – and therefore, not faulty or damaged;
  • Fit for purpose – the Product(s) should be suited to the purpose they are supplied for; and
  • As described – the Product(s) must match the given description.

You have a legal right to cancel a Contract under the Consumer Rights Regulations (S.L. 378.17 of the Laws of Malta) during the period set out below. This means that during the relevant period, if you change your mind or for any other reason you decide you do not want to keep a Product, you can notify us of your decision to cancel the Contract and receive a refund.

Advice about your legal right to cancel the Contract under these regulations is available from the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority.

However, this cancellation right does not apply in the case of:

  • Any products made to your specification, clearly personalised, custom-made or commissioned in any way;
  • Newspapers, periodicals or magazines;
  • Products sealed for health protection or hygiene purposes, once these have been unsealed after you received them;
  • Sealed audio or sealed video recordings or sealed computer software, once these products are unsealed after you receive them; or
  • Perishable goods.

Shipping


How long does it take to receive my order?

For items we have in stock, we take around 2-3 business days to ship your order. On order prints can take up to 20 working days to dispatch. After that it takes 3-5 days for our shipping partner to deliver in Malta and 10-15 days to deliver internationally. 

Do you ship international?

Yep! From sunny Malta we can virtually ship to anywhere in the world. Delays at import Customs are not uncommon and we have no control over any resulting inconvenience from them. Please be patient, as international shipment may take as little as one week or as much as two months on rare occasions. Delays are to be expected during higher-volume mailing periods, such as the Christmas shopping season etc.

Do you offer next day delivery? 

For urgent/same day deliveries, it would be best that you contact us by phone (+356 7907 2313) or email ([email protected]) to confirm that we have a particular product in stock and we can have it shipped for you on the same day.


Payments


How can I pay for my order?

We accept payment with all main card providers and Paypal. In our shops you can also pay in cash. Should you have any questions regarding payments please contact us directly.

Printing


How are the designs printed?

Posters are printed in small quantities using specialised digital printing on Decor Smooth Art on 200gsm or 310gsm paper.

Returns & Exchanges


What is our Return Policy?

We do not offer refunds for return but we do offer exchanges. For us to be able to exchange an item, it needs to be still in its original packaging unopened.

My print/frame has arrived damaged. What now?

We do our best to ship your order in a safe and secure way. If your order for any reason or in any way arrives damaged, please let us know immediately so we can help you find a solution. Important: Please make sure to take photos of both the package and the damaged product(s) and send them together with other relevant information about the claim to [email protected]

Do you offer custom sizes?

We already offer different size options for most of our collections. Should you be interested in a custom size prints for a large project, please get in touch on the contact form below or on [email protected]

Why don’t you offer different sizes on all collections?

We only offer different sizes on open run collections. Limited run and numbered collection come only in one standard size.

Do you handle delivery?

Yes we do. Please select the right shipping option during the check-out process. Large frames (100cm x 100cm & 100cm x 150cm) carry a surchage as they need to be delivered in a large van. if you're purchasing a large frame please select the correct shipping option.

What's the easiest way to get your prints?

All our available prints are on our online shop. You can complete your purchase online and wait for your delivery. Alternatively you can visit one of our Souvenirs That Don't Suck shop in Sliema or Valletta.

Framing


What frames do you offer?

Each collection comes in a standard frame. This may vary between white, black and wooden frame. These options are clearly indicated when buying a framed print online or in-store. If you want to choose another frame you can order unframed prints (available on all orders) alternatively you can check out the frames selection at our frame-maker DOTA Frames in Fgura and we will be able to follow up and quote accordingly. (Available only for large orders)

What are the sizes of your standard framed prints?

Please refer to the below sizes to see the size of the framed print. Please note that some sizes and collections come with a mount around the artwork and some don't. Should you want to customise this option please choose the unframed print from our website and coordinate directly with Dota framing.

How long does it take to receive my order?

Deadlines are very important for us and we will always try to help you meet your deadlines however hand made frames and custom sizes do take time to produce so please plan ahead and don’t leave everything for the last minute. Usually, we can supply standard sizes in 2-4 weeks depending on quantity (earlier if in stock). For large orders and custom sizes, we will include timelines during the quoting stage. From our experience projects can run smoother when full information is provided from the start and both parties avoid delays during quote approval and deposit payment.

Can you do a mock-up or proposal for us?

We can suggest sizes and designs but we do not offer mock-up services We suggest you discuss this with your designer or architect. Let us know if you need more information from our side.

Can you come on location to give us your suggestions?

Unfortunately, we do not offer this service on-site. We can suggest sizes and designs via e-mail or online. We always suggest you discuss this with the people handling the project to make sure the selected prints complement your very own beautiful space. We promise you we invest our time and focus making sure we present our prints the best we can 🙂
